About Shivam Tiwari

Hari Om. I am Shivam Tiwari, founder and lead instructor at SSA Yoga (Shantam · Shivam · Advaitam) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. My spiritual and instructional foundation is established upon the living traditional science of authentic yoga, presenting every practice not as physical calisthenics, but as a deliberate discipline of consciousness, breath, and postural alignment.

I completed my Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Consciousness & Yogic Science alongside a Post Graduate Diploma in Yogic Science (PGDYS) from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Furthering my practical training, I earned specialized credentials across premier classical institutions including Kaivalyadhama, SKM Yoga (200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate), and Nisha Joshi Yoga Academy.

With over two years of daily studio teaching and student mentorship, I have guided hundreds of practitioners across Bhopal—from university scholars preparing for the rigorous UGC NET Yoga exam, to desk professionals and elders rehabilitating spinal compression, chronic lumbar pain, and cervical stiffness. At SSA Yoga, every student receives individualized attention to master foundational stability before moving toward advanced asana mastery.

Teaching Philosophy

"Yoga begins where force ends. True mastery of an asana is not measured by extreme flexibility, but by the steadiness of the mind and the uninterrupted smoothness of the breath while holding that shape."

I instruct with an emphasis on ahimsa (non-harming) and precision. When a practitioner understands their individual skeletal structure and respects their daily physiological boundaries, yoga becomes a lifelong sanctuary for physical strength, emotional clarity, and deep inner peace.
